RE: RE: RE: (Regarding the Reappearance of Energy Rebates)
May 13, 2013
We are very excited to hear that a program that is somewhat similar to the popular EcoEnergy rebates is about to reappear. We had a meeting with a Home Energy Auditor late last week who shared some details about a new program that is about to be launched in the next few days. We are sharing this on our blog site now because the program has limited funding – with only slightly over 400 eligible households receiving these grants.
You may recall that the last EcoEnergy rebates were cancelled with just a little over 24 hours notice, so once again the window will be open for a very short period of time. If you live in a home that is fully detached, built before 1994, has a natural gas furnace or boiler, and are a Union Gas customer – you may be eligible for up to $2500 in rebates. We are respecting our partners wishes that we do not share the full details until after the launch on Wednesday of this week (May 15). Be sure to check our blog page or contact us at any of the contact points below.
