Thank you to saveONenergy for the Retrofit Program Award and Recognition
January 22, 2014
Last Thursday we were honoured to win the 2013 Channel Partner Excellence Award for Waterloo Region’s saveONenergy program, presented by Cambridge and North Dumfries Hydro Inc, Kitchener Wilmot Hydro Inc, Waterloo North Hydro Inc.
“Don’t play for the tie, play for the win!” Jeff Quint (Manager, Conservation and Corporate Communications for Waterloo North Hydro) said this and it resonated in my mind because that’s what we have been doing for the past year, playing for the win! In the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) industry we are constantly looking into the future because the equipment that we install has to last a long time and perform at peak efficiency throughout it’s lifespan. When Jeff says play for the Win this is our thought process in doing so. We could just install a regular rooftop heating and cooling unit with an average cost like the other companies out there. But playing for the win is our mentality and with more due diligence, a lot of time and extra effort and with the help of the saveONenergy program and staff, we are winning for our clients. The win is the cost of operating the equipment in the future and rebates/incentives (less money paid on overhead) down the line. It may cost a little more up front but with our winning mentality we work with our clients to show them the in depth breakdown on how much they can save in the short and long term.
We appreciate the recognition for all of this hard work and additional devotion to saving energy and would like to say Thank You to saveONenergy. We will be continually happy and excited to work on the retrofit program for 2014.
